Just been for a quick spin, got in the car fine as usual but on trying to get out, the buttons, both sides, refused to work so I had to pull the old red handle to open the doors. Buttons under the mirrors and the boot release dont work either, any ideas?

Cheers

check for corrosion on contacts, but I would unplug the box for half an hour and then connect it back up.

Would that be the lock ecu? Where is it situated?

Thanks

It's in the boot that you cant get into. ;-) I've had this problem twice. Both times was when the passenger had got out and not shut the door properly. Not sure if it was the window trying to push up against the seal and it tripped it out but both times its started working on its own after 10 mins or so. Probably no help at all to you but its worth leaving it for a bit and then trying it again.

Have you tried locking yourself in the car and then unlocking again?

Mine got confused when I did not quite get the door closed but started the car.
Had to use the red handle too!
We were approaching the Peage on way to Le Mans at the time and passenger could not get out to pay!

Have you pressed the lock button on the centre console, if so the un-plugging of the door control box as described earlier could be the answer, that button seems to confuse things now and again.

Its started working again on its own, something is dodgy though, the alarm has started to go off on its own and counting at the LED flashes, its the doors that are setting it off.
