Nose up, or down?
Discussion
Bit of a random question - but figured someone would have some experience which might lend itself to this little conundrum!
The tarmac where she sleeps at night isn't level. I only thought about this yesterday whilst buffing her in the brief glimpse of sunshine between 12:02 and 12:04... but... does anyone know whether it's better to leave a Cerb with the nose uphill, or tuther way round?
I'm guessing that over the period of a few days, the various liquids (fuel, water, oil etc) will impact the car differently depending upon which end is "up".
... or is it the case that the various systems just pressurise, or pump through before ignition?
I know it's a bit random, but I thought it was quite an interesting one!

Park mine "nose up" (albeit it's only slight), my car does take on a bit of water now and again under heavy downpours, if parked nose down I have found a wet footwell around the ECU which isn't ideal. Can't see onboard fluids being affected too much as far as starting car, oil starvation etc (if it's low enought to cause a problem then it's way too low), but it does affect the oil reading on the dipstick so I always move car to the flat before checking that.

I've had the same "water in the window" issue with mine, also when parked nose-down...
But when she's at home, she's all covered up, to prevent precisely that, so it's more on the vital fluids side I was thinking... but sounds like there's probably not much to make a difference...

The trouble pushing a car with an LSD is one thing, but I was mainly thinking of this: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
