Mandy and Andy? - Are they real names?
Gearge Clarke just said the garage may be stretching the budget too far - Priorities - Kevin McCloud would understand...

Gutless. Should have told the Missus she can cook in a tent in the garden. Would have got a garage so the cerb can be looked after properly (until someone else buys it and sprays it Blue)hehe

Yes real & here, hi Ed wavey

Not been on here for ages though, too busy building a second garage down the bottom of the garden to put the stuff from my "junk" room & that beetle in to.

Don’t worry the house garage is still there just as it was (less a beetle now it’s moved), it’s just that if I drive the cerb in I have to get out of the window there’s so little room. The same builders are coming back to enlarge it in a few weeks, so it’s not all bad! I want to get the body off the cerb while there is still some metal left down there & really need the space for that…

We weren’t too keen on the yellow furniture in side either – they actually did say they got it to match the car. silly

I’m not sold on the sofa what ever it’s colour, nor was Mandy till she found out it’s worth seven grand nuts she’s decided she likes it now.

£7K for a sofa!!!!!

You could always keep it and sell it when (if) you need an engine re-build! Nice looking car by the way.

At least when I was forced to watch yet another bloody house programme there was something of interest in it for me.

Cheers

Glad to be of service.
I was thinking the same thing about the sofa, it's worth more than all my other cars put together!

No, non of the furniture did or I would have had something to say! They get stuff at a pretty hefty discount with the products being featured on TV, like up to 100%

It's a shame (or may be just as well) they didn't look to the Cerb's purple interior for inspiration on colors!

Thanks & thanks for that link very funny (mainly true) comments there.

As for the show, no they are very anal about it being real, all we (well she) did was give them a scrap book of things we liked for them to go by but that was it. I found it very frustrating not being involved with the building project.
I’ve no way of actually knowing for sure but they said our money just went on the building work – materials & labour.
