Sprayed the chassis at the weekend in advance of the winter weather.
Friend in the trade recommended Tetrosyl black wax as it stays flexible and doesn't crack.
Took it for a drive afterwards to burn off drips on the exhaust. Had some funny looks with whiffs of smoke appearing from under the car and bonnet!!!!
At least my hair won't rust in the next downpour!!
