"With regard to other points of design of the Griff, and in fact with most TVR models, the inner wings took a lot of volume from the engine bay. For example a Griff or even a Cerbera fitted with the AJP8 has got restricted space for the intake system. If the inner wings were 200mm wider across the car, an extra 60bhp could be gained from a 4.2 AJP8."

Any opinions on this?

Maybe the extra 20cm's will leave more room for a pair of turbo's? That should give the 4.2 an extra 60bhp biggrin

I have an opinion .. I've tried it and it's bks hehe

  • well what i actually tried is a whole load of induction changes when i was researching this, none of which gave 60hp unsurprisingly enough! room for a pair of turbos as said above, or extra storage capacity for some 60hp nitrous bottles and jets maybe .. otherwise forget 60hp! There are gains to be had but not that big!! think 10hp not 60 hehe
