Post-upgrades insurance
Discussion
Two thoughts which I need to resolve fairly shortly, so wanted to throw to the floor:
1. Post-upgrades, are there particularly specialist insurers I'll need to talk to? Or will the usual set of recommendations cover a RR upgrade with bits and pieces?
2. Any thoughts on roughly what the additional costs will be? Got some idea but wanted to establish what actual "experience" there was, if anyone's been through similar upgrades?

My insurance is with Groupama and as far as I am aware there was no additional charge for the engine remap, they just put down as 'Miscellaneous engine modifications'. The insurance was place through A-plan who specialise in TVR insurance, so that may have made a difference.

Thats nice! I'm with these guys myself... so I'll give them a call.Neil.

Spoke to A-Plan, and Group Arma (spelling?) have covered all the mods from stock 4.5 to full RR conversion with no increase in the premium.
