PH ad looks like a scam far too cheap.

Same with the Autotrader one, although it could be a desperate seller.

Unless it is Gavc's car in which case it is another scam. laugh

yikes

I'm currently staring at the car & Gavin the new owner's picking it up on Saturday.

Autotrader advert is mine & is due to expire, however I'll log on now & pull it.

Pistonheads advert is a scam with a different telephone number & change of price.... Needs reporting.

Am I missing something here? or am I too naieve and trusting? The ad looks OK to me - it is cheap, but all cars have plummeted in value rcently.
The 07 number is 'Phonesafe' number that PistonHeads give you when you sell a car - so canvassers can't see your real number and pester you with calls.

Except it's a phonesafe divert to a number that doesn't exist. As we're all after a bargain, we'll then try the email address & so the scam begins.

Bit like the five grand Veyron's you see on Autotrader .... " Phone not working properly, please email me"

Etc etc etc

What's going on, its Russell's..... no its mine.... get the bloody ad off..... jesus.... could be sold again before I lay my hands on hershoot

I have to say I just complained to autotrader last week, as my recent ad for another car was copied.... damn cheek, couldn't believe my eyes..... they tell me its happening all the time with people putting copy ad's on with dodgy credit cards. They were that stupid it was overpriced!

it is phonesafe as like some other trader sites but have you checked the cost of the calls!! good idea if safe ?? but will reduce enquiries and when placing ads the phone safe option is usually ticked and may be over looked.. just state in ad no canversers etc worked for me its not a safe planet I know... oh well
