Done a search but can't see an answer, I have 225/35's on the front and they hardly stretch to cover the rim, surely the front should be running 235/35's.... only can't seem to find any being sold in that size, could always use 235/40 or 245/35's profile???

Anyone been here before? I'm sure you havepaperbag

Rolling radius is:
255/35's 1997mm (rears)
225/35's 1931mm (front

Could use for the front:
245/35's 1975mm
235/40's 2026mm
235/35's 1953mm (can't see these being sold)

Given the rears at 1997mm, surely best fit on the front is 245/35's??

Most people seem to run 225's on the front with no problems. And apparently, going wider than 235 will induce tramlining.

I've just bought a set and will be using 225's on the front.

225/40 Pzeros on the front for me. They fit ok and even though the change from 35 to 40 is only the profile, they do protect the rims much better than the 35's I had on before (SO3s AFAICR). 225/35 can also be hard to get hold of.

I have just fitted a set of spiders off a t350. Fronts Goodyear Eagle F1 225 x 35 and rear 235 x 40. The F1`s have a rim protector on the tyre edge which would help a little if you kerbed them, but I hope I don`t put that to the test! I don`t seem to get any tramlining but I have only just fitted them so have not tested much yet. IMHO they look good with different widths and higher profile on the rear, the car just looks right.Hope this helps you decide.

225/40's, now there's an idea and the rolling radius is 2002mm, very close to the rearsscratchchin

....and available in F1 Asymmetric's!

Do NOT put 245's on the front.

I tried it and it makes the car undrivable.

Learn from my mistake.

No the tyres are for the Cerb, the 225's just look skinny on the Spiders and cos they are stretched it makes the 35 profile look more like 30.

I'll consider the 40 profile, sounds like a good idea.

Cars with factory fit 18" spiders had 225/35 on the front and 255/35 on rear.
They've always been just fine on mine.
