Can anyone help - I'm guessing the first might be an aftermarket port for the ECU, but no ides what the second is (located by my left knee on the central tunnel).

First looks like an very old A/V type socket, perhaps you plug your 8 track into it should your iPod be defective hehe.
The second I don't recognise, not that I have them but I'll guess its for heated seats confused.

Does it have a clifford alarm? Looks like a clifford type alarm button for turning parts of the security system on/off.

That's a switch for a Clifford alarm smile

The first one looks like the input for a remote for an old Kodak 35mm projector.

1st one is a 5 pin DIN socket for stereo audio input.

Check the helmet holder for a reel-to-reel tape machine;)

Your radio should have an AUX selection in the menue somewhere.

2nd one looks like the ejector seat control, for when "they" do-your-head-in!

Yep, it's got a Clifford alarm, couldn't see anything abouth the switch in the manual though.

So the plugs isn't for the ECU then? How odd.

My little honda crx used to have a clifford with a button like that. It was an anti hijack type button. Every time you opened the door you had to put a little code in (eg up up down up) or the engine would cut out.

Not sure on the first.
Like IMARTL said the second one is part of a clifford alarm system, it is used as a manual overide to deactivate the alarm and immobliser should the fob fail, morse code style(up up down up etc.....)
