Came to use the Cerb for the first time in a month (been away and bad weather) but there is not enough life in the battery to start the car.

What do you recommend I invest in, Jump Leads or a Battery Charger? Any recommendations on either would be good also.

If I am to buy a set of jump leads the car is in the garage so they would need to be 5M in length, is that too long?

Hoping to be on the road tomorrow smile

Thanks

Charger and a set of leads for that just incase moment. I'm no bright spark (no pun) but I would go for the charger as a nice slow build up is better than a 'wham bam thank you mam' way of going about things ;-)

Mine wouldn't go the other day and I was amazed when my £20 Maplin jumpstarter did the job - it's been sitting in the garage unused for 12 months!

I'd go for one of those for emergencies and a trickle charger (to avoid the emergencies)!

Jump starting from another car is a no no! It has been known to wipe the chip in the door control box

I work away and usually jump mine every month, have done so for a year now , no probs. Think it may be if you "rattle" the connection on off on off you can/may cause problems.
Message to self , get the power wired up to garage and connect trickle charger I have sitting.
