Will check it when I get the wheel off, car is currently at my dads house, the split is on the inside of the rim. Newly refurbished perfect alloys as well. Going to borrow my one of my mates wheels off his Tuscan to get it home. Didnt notice it go on the road, noticed the tyre was flat after it had been parked for half an hour and noticed the split when the white tyre mate foam started to piss out of the tyre. It must of punctured as I was going down the gravel road to my dads house, I would of noticed straight away if I was driving on the road. Wierd.

Camskill is looking good, thanks. Just drove home with my mates spider on running 235's and they seemed to be fine, no rubbing. Is there any other reason why I cant use that size rather than 225?
Cheers.
Seen a Cerb recently with 255 on front & 285 on the rear but not on spider wheels.depends on wheel offset, you run the risk of the tyres rubbing on the arches, why not use 225 & play safe, they are plenty wide enough for the front.Cheers.
Hi,
I run 235 40 R888's on RL 17's on the front and this year 255's on the rear. The front work fine but the rears may rub a little under hard cornering. I will find out in a couple of weeks
Go on the Toyo website uk, look under products then motorspert and there is a chart giving you the techie details of the different tyres. There is only 1mm cantact width difference between 17's and 18's so you should be ok to use 235's. The list is a bit out of date but if you want other widths you could call Alan Meaker at Toyo (he is the techie) and very helpful.
As previously mentioned you cannot mix A list tyres (normal road tyres) and B list tyres like R888's - well you can but the difference in grip levels is enourmous and the car balance will be badly affected.

Sorry for the late reply, but there are 235/35R18's on the market now.
Don't know how they will fit, but if the 225/40R18 fit's I do not see any problems.
Pirelli P Zero assymetrico's and others.
Mine are very new, but if they need a change, I wil fit these for the front. It is extra rubber!
