I've decided i'm going to do my own 6 month service on the Cerbera, rather than pay a specialist, then get a full 12k/12month done the Summer when it's due. (It had a pre purchase jobbie in September anyway)

So

Items required (consumables) and where best to get them from?

Oil (Opieoils, seeing as he recommended it)
Oil filter
Fuel filter
Air filter
Brake fluid (any recommendations on what type?)
Gearbox oil (again - recommendation?)
Diff oil (again ....)
Spark plugs
HT Leads

Other things i'll pick up on when I do the service (in accordance with the schedule - hopefully not too much!)

Anything else to think of?

I'd also like to plug the laptop in, but have no experience with this, so when I do it, will someone talk me through what I need to be looking at?

Whilst doing this i'll fit my oil temperature gauge and photograph/document everything.

Specialist gets my money on the annual service.

Cheers

PS
Doing this because I 'want' to get my hands dirty.

Give Opie a ring, you'll probably find that they can supply most of what you need.

I got my last service kit from Ebay - Service Kit
All good quality OEM stuff.

Topping up the Diff and Gearbox oil is tricky unless you have a pump, it's easier to take it to any local friendly and trusted service place, and you supply the oil and watch him do it. Make sure you get the right oil for the diff, the wrong oil can seriously fck it up!

As Gazzab says, prime the filter first.
