Door opening problems

Hi fellas, I need some help, my driver's door swich (on the mirror) is working very intermittently. The switch inside the door opens it every time so it has to be either the switch or the connectors inside the door. Should I need to replace the switch,
1. how do I get it out. and
2. where can I get a replacement from.

I've had a good look at the mirror and cannot see how to remove the switch without damaging the mirror itself. If some kind soul would pass on some idea of how I can accomplish this I would be very greatful.

i think there is a nut inside the mirror holding the switch in. seem to remember somone with a similar problem not long since, try a search in this forum.

Thanks for the advice so far guys, will try the connectors first, and only go for dismantling if absolutely necessary.
