Just wanted to share a great afternoon.

well after the pride and joy was trailered up to Racing Green for failing to start, this pm went up there to pick it up.

A quick blast along the A31 to Ash Vale and a pleasent experience was had!

The fault (spinning over no probs, but failing to fire) was found to be a loose connection on the back of the fuse/relay board - which was duly fixed.

At the same time new number plate (legal!!) fitted and it went through the MOT with no probs.

Steve/Martin had done a great job as well in sorting an annoying rattle from the Zorsts, and she looked gleaming in the sun.

Build into that a cup of coffee and a wander round their fantastic showrooms and I was made up - which probably explains why I blew £45 on an alloy petrol cap.

So.. the journey back A31/A32, bright sunshine, little traffic, it was brilliant, and fast and 50 mins latter was in Titchfiel!!

Fantastic Day and thanks to the guys at Racing Green

Excellent post - I wonder how many owners feel the same after collecting their BMW's after service Rich...

I remember having a BMW - the most exciting thing was that the dashboard lights were extinguished.

Now, in a TVR, you have to just test out that everything's OK

Great post, today will be known henceforth as TVR Drivers Bonus Day as the weather was just fantastic for window down, seemingly impossible overtaking manouvres followed by the guy who just tried to close the gap on you copping an earful of unburnt juice!

The plot thickens!

Same fault reoccured (typical on a sunny, dry Saturday) much head scratching and checking & replacing of fuses and relays.

Still no go so trailered up to the guys at Racing Green where problem seemed to solve itself and then reappeared.

Apparently putting the vehicle on their diagnostic equipment is hinting (oh god please dont let it be!!) that the engine management module is potentially duff.

Cost £880 plus vat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, wife is still speaking to me and if it allows me to enjoy it when I want to then it cant be too bad LOL.

Yours P*SSed off and looking at credit card balance.
