Has anyone had a set of these for the Cerbera long enough to give an informed opinion/review on how they stack up against the original TVR items?
My main area of interest is of longevity. The originals, as we are all aware, are prone to fracture. Owners, as far as I know, get them welded back up. But from past posts, the welds dont hold up for long.
I have had mine welded, but tbh I am a little reluctant to bolt them back in, if they're having to come back out in a year or so.
Webbing, ceramic coating, ally coating appear to be very short term solutions. So are 1k odd manifolds the only way forward? I only know of one person who has bought the ACT items. Are there any others?
Cheers

I had them fitted after mine cracked. Aparently they have been designed to overcome the weakness in the O/E ones They also allow the engine to rev a lot easier and give a noticeable increase in torque. I will hopefully be getting the car remapped (again) so I will be able to see the actual difference.
I can say categorically they will never be available at half price, whatever the quantity.
After speaking to Tim at ACT, he can offer 5% off if 3 people were to buy. Which equates to around 60 quid off.
The problem is, the actual maker of these don't really give discounts, as they are so labout intensive. And I guess are a pig to make.
So no sweetner I'm afraid. Apart from the 5% that is..
If there was a welder/fabricator on PH willing to make some replacements, he'd make ALOT of money
