ARGHHHHHHHH.....Big fuse problems

Have been suffering with fluctuating rev counter so I have just had the big fuse changed only to drive off and have the revs fluctuate

Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Check the state of the cabling and particulalry the connections like where it joins the big fuse. Mine had gone bad and the wiring simply couldn't transfer a decent charge through to the battery. Failing that it could be a failing alternator, worth checking the output by connecting a multimeter right onto it.

Never thought about the cabling, I am going to have the fuse re routed next week so will get everything checked out then and hope to get to the bottom of it.

Let us know how you get on, I've tried everything, just need to borrow a spare rev counter now before I splash out on one of those .

just went in for a body off to replace outriggers (probably), service and a thorough check, will have it back in April. how does your go now (aside this gremlin)?
