Mil Light, help..........

Mil light accompanied me all the way home, on off, on off, you get the picture, a bit like bleeping morse code. Great place to hide it behind the wheel!!

Anyhow, lights flickering and Mil light bleeping, flickering could be alternator output (4.5 Cerb)??

Lights don't flicker at idle, Mil light stays off too, but both play up when revs applied. Engine also has developed a hesitation....linked to lights flickering maybe??

Could be the big fuse / alternator. Power nicked that alternator off my Blue car, I'll try & work out how old it is. Guessing the hesitation will be lack of power at the injectors.

Be worth having a word with Dom.

If you fire up the Diags program on your laptop and go through the help pages you'll see there are lots of things that can cause the MIL light to come on. Lamdas, TPots, AFR etc etc.
