Mine was registered on 10/05/96 - originally an N plate.

How can you work out the production number - from the VIN? Mine ends 020 - does that make it number 20?

I have never been tempted to put a private plate on it.Quite proud of the fact its one of the very first production Cerbera,s.There are certain parts on the car that has even stumped a few of the indies whilst looking over it.Ones that they havent seen on other Cerbera,s Airboxes and the panel around the wipers to name a couple.

If I'm reading my chassis number correctly, mines no. 884 and was built July 1997 - surely that can't be right can it?

Anyone know if any of these early factory cars are still out there somewhere :-

M515 RCW - Tested by Clarkson 1995, carbon inlets, different dash layout etc
N912 DRN - Appeared in late 1995 articles with final style inlets but with flat top air boxes, full width air intake, seperate "grill-bar", no carbon trims on front or rear windows and seperate rear bumper.
N244 KCW - Famous shoot-out / road test car - as production spec ??
N527 GRN - Factory demonstrator car

P799 TFR - 1st 4.5 tested by the press in mid 1997, still on 4.2 wheels, carbon inlets, no 4.5 badge -smashed up whilst being tested by Performance car.
P808 DCK - 2nd 4.5 press car after P799 smashed up, carbon inlets but running on 17" RL's, no 4.5 badge.

R460 FCW - Speed Six developement car - for sale at James Agger 2years ago.

I know that the very early cars had a few unique bits on - mine has the earlier style cross piece in the middle of the grill bonded in (the bit the number place is attached to).

What's the difference with the wiper cover piece?

By the wiper panel, do you mean the bit that the washer tubes come through and also comes down to cover the battery? If so, then mine is one piece too - to be expected I suppose if it was just 7 cars further down the production line!

Mine has had a 4.5 conversion so it's got the later air boxes.

Has yours got plain tell-tale lights in the dash or has it got the legends with the symbol on?

Oh and Keith took it to the Ace last night woohoo and its looks and goes great thumbup

I think 63rd is more likely. If TVR made 2000 over the course of.... 6 years? That's 333 a year, or just under one a day.
