Sorry, that's about the best description I can think of for them!! spin

I'm currently trying to trace a problem with my doors having a mind of their own rotate The connectors inside the doors are looking very sorry for themselves!! It looks like someone's already had a go at repairing some connections as some wires have bypassed the blocks. Ideally I'd like to simply replace all of the multi-way block connectors with new items but I can't find anywhere that supplies them frown

So, does anyone have any idea where I can get these from? Guess they don't need to be exactly the same, just so long as they match current ratings,

Cheers all thumbup

If its the connector block inside the door card. I managed to clean mine up with a small electrical screw driver and some fine emery cloth then put some contact grease on connections. Vaseline will work fine for this. If the connections are really bad and corroded i would suggest remaking the connections with insulated crimps such as blue bullet crimps. You should get these for a few pence from any motor factors.

Thanks Nelly, that's exactly what I was after!! biggrin Can see me getting carried away here..... smile

GTti, unfortunately the connectors are in such a bad state there's no going back for them! Just gently moving them out of the door skin had wire's breaking at the joints - no wonder I've had so many problems!

There are wiring diagrams that i think from memory also have colour codings on them on Dave Hinns' website. Hope this helps.

I replaced the connectors inside the door quite quickly after I got my Cerb. Wanted a better solution that the original connectors though, so ended up using AMP Superseals. Quite expensive, but I think they'll be a lot longer lasting that the original things.

Got a box full of the things for about £90 from....can't remember! lol Some electric place based in Derby.... WVP!!

I did look at these as well, the link Nelly gave me supplies them. They are a LOT more expensive, but similar to yourself think they should last a lot longer as well....anything's got to be better than what's there at the minute!! laugh

Did you just replace 2-way -> 2-way & 4-way -> 4-way, etc, or did you combine some of the connections?

cheers

Where I could I replaced like for like. I think there are a couple of 8, 10 or 12 way connectors that obviously require more than one AMP connector to replace it with.
