stop selling your cars so cheaply: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/907435.htm

This seems like a real bargain, I thought all pistonhead owners had a price pact to keep the values of our Cerbs high?

I just looked at that too. That should be at least 3k more, unless there something wrong with it, say chassis rot? not saying there is, but that is too cheap.

I was just looking over the classifieds and noticed how few cerbs there are for sale, (particularly 4.5's) compared to Tuscans. Were there more tuscans built than cerbs?

Why don't we all put our cerbs up for sale

£35k 4.5 RR
£31k 4.5
£30k 4.2
£28k 4.0

Set a start point of 2005
minus £750 for every 10,000 miles

If everyone follows suit....laugh

No history? No engine rebuild? Chassis? Tyre's needed? Crash repair?

Could be a 101 reasons . . . there's always the chance that it could just be a bargain!

I'm tempted to buy it, swap the wheels and exhaust and punt it back out at £6.5k!

That is TOO cheap for a Cerb though.

Even an old one with no history (not saying that's the case though).

The way things are going I'll be able to have 2 soon! laugh

This was for sale about a year ago, I saw it advertised when I was buying mine and at that point it was £10,500

The images are the same ones used which would suggest the same owner so perhaps the car never sold and now really needs to go hence the price..

Seems a bargain to me-SP exhaust is 1K at least,so what if there`s no history?-at that price money can be spent on it to make a good car.

There is an AM Sage Green 4.5 for sale at the moment and it is the colour/engine combination I would want. However, given my current TVR managed nearly as many miles on an AA truck as on the road last year I'm not brave enough to approach the subject with the Mrs. That, and the lack of a second garage.

I already have the "it's the perfect family car" bit worked out though.

All I need to do is move house, somewhere with a big garage, and I'm getting a cerbera.

There are still a few unsold from then cropping up. Or being sold again perhaps.

I have mine up for sale at the moment. Am holding out for 10k but not had any serious interest, loads of emails but not even had anyone visit. I was wondering if advertising in autotrader might work but thought most people looking would probably look on PH. I just think it's a really bad time to sell and some people are left with no choice except dropping to a seriously low price if they have to get rid.

Don't loose hope dude, i'm currently on the lookout for an AJP Cerbie and i've noticed quite a few threads in the last couple of months from people also trying to buy (so buyers are out there), but for me it has to be exactly the right spec, and i suspect most other buyers think along similar lines.
Don't be drawn into dropping the price just to shift it, if it's a good car then eventually someone will hand over a fair price for it.

Your's really is a lovely looking car... Its just a bit early for me though. I'm after a Cerb but as I'm moving at the end of June I cant do anything before then. Why do all the ones I like come up for sale when I cant buy !!!
