Thanks,
Could try this engine on ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-CERBERA-V8-4-2-LITRE-LIG...

...or new one from Mr. Melling for circa £12K to £14K!!!!

Not sure about the RL17's - think they are becoming hard to find..? Keep an eye out in the parts section of the classifieds? Plus, maybe try the TVRCC?..or maybe the breakers...see below.

Seats...good condition and in the right colour may proove difficult...what about buying the right seats in any condition and getting them refurbed? Could try the usual breakers...Douglas Valley...?

Good luck

if the engine is good and can be seen running before you buy, then my guess would be £3k `ish? possibly more if you can prove its in fine fettle.
depends as well if the engine comes complete with all ancillaries, alternator starter motor ect.

if its not running and no history then £1k? could cost a lot if its full of suprises, I `ve been therehehe

Might not be as good as you think.rolleyes

I only managed to get just over 2K for my 4.2 motor with 40K and that included T5 box, ECU, wiring, etc etc. Hell, it could even be heard running.

I think 3K is what someone will pay if they're desparate to get moving again. I maybe wrong but the engines from Bell hill don't seem to sell and they're at 3K.

Anyway....shouldn't you be holding onto those bits for when you come back to your roots?? biggrin

if your selling then to give you an idea I just bought a pair of cerb seats for £275, in very good condition, and felt I got a very good deal, there are plenty of guys on the griff forum after these seats, have heard of people paying as much as £400 for an excellent pair.

I was going to say might be interested in the 17" RLs, then I saw on your profile you are in Dubai?

And it wont be going there either if I do buy it hehe

Looking into buying a bargin one that needs some body and chassis work done. Hence why sort it, sell the engine and yes fit an LS lump.

Wont be a quick fix up as I intend on getting it how I really wanted the last one.

We shall see I'll only do it if I get it at the right price. Thats why I'm looking for an idea of what the bits I wont be using are worth.

biggrin

RL's needing a refurb will probably only be worth a tenner, I'll save you the storage room and take them off your hands biggrin
