Hello All

Just noticed a few little horrid stone chips on my front apron.... Anyone know where I can get touch up paint from? Do the TVR specialists do it? I can't go to Halfrauds to get some made up as I am in Italy. Need a tube sent over in the post/
Also, not sure what colour my car is!!! Can you check out my profile and give me your thoughts? Its a 1999/2000 on a T

Cheers!

I've not used them - yet, but I came across this site:

Paints4u.com colour match service

Which may be of some use.

If you Google Paints4u.com they seem to have a good reputation across the 'net.

Looks very much the same colour as Russell's "ol blue"

Worth a quick pm if he doesn't pick up this thread, am sure he will know the colour code etc. You might find it's another manufacturers colour (mine's a BMW colour for instance) and this might mean you can pick one up locally if it's from one of the larger manufacturers. Of course that's all assuming they are the same blue but they do look it.

Failing that, could always call Surface and Design where Gerbil now is, ex factory paint chap and will be able to advise or probably even be able to sort you out completely.

I've used these guys for paint matches a few times and have always been very satisfied: http://www.morelli.co.uk/ I'm sure they'd happily do a mail-order service.

Check through your black book carefully - my paint code was written in in pen on one of the pages towards the back of the front setion (i.e. before you get to the service cards).

Failing all that, where abouts in Italy are you?

I was thinking it was similar as well TC biggrin

As mentioned, code should be in the engine bay. That one of mine's metallic Cosmos Blue (TVR code) P181.

If so, give Ewelme coachworks a try, they've just fixed a scratch on it, so will hopefully have some made up/left smile
