Going to look at a 98 cerb. 4.5 tomorrow, would be a p/ex. aganist my Tuscan. I wasn't concerned as to whether it was a 4.2 or a 4.5 (led to beleive little difference)but i was wondering whether the early 4.5's (i think 98 was the first batch?) are generally less of a safe bet than a 4.2 of the same period?
Or do you think its worth stretching the budget(rather not at the mo.) to a later 4.5 LW, aside from the Tuscan seats and lights, wheels are they a big improvement?

I am sure you get no end of questions like this as on the Tuscan forum from prospective owners.. so I would like to say thank you in advance for taking the time to reply

Well done Singh, hope you're well. Good luck with the purchase. Can't give you too much advice on differences apart from the ones you already know but there's loads of threads on here detailing them.

When I was looking at buying one, I budgeted for nearly £10K less than the one I ended up with but after reading stuff on here and speaking to other Cerbera owners, I wouldn't be put off buying a sorted early one, either 4.2 or 4.5 or possibly an S6.

You know what it's like though, when you go for something this special, I just thought sod it, pay the extra and get as late as possible.

Oh, try a few out first, they can differ a lot in performance and condition.

BTW, is the one you've seen in the area?

Enjoy, they're the nuts.
