Just stuck up a question about noise testing 'strictness'. Lets see what they say smile

Looked at that.

£85 for 3 hours seems a lot of money imho.

Brands, AFAIK are VERY strict on noise. Will be interesting to see what they say about the 105 limit. Even more so as it's an evening event on a weekday.

Well Matt, you have just answered one of my questions by posting here. Just heard a Cerb rumble past my office window, looked out and there was a yellow one. Now I know (hope) mine is tucked up at home, and its not you if you're posting here, so wonder who we got on my turf without permission? scratchchin

They are pretty strict, especially with an evening event. yes

We all know that a Cerb' only revs to 5.5K so that helps. wink

Other than a Goodwood sprint Brands is the only place that I've had to put my cans on - beware.

Dont start me off Graham ranting

Yeah I know they have tightened up Tim. I have got cans, and even know how to fit them hehe

As I was trying to point out to my new friend on the other thread, Ive been on 2 105dba days, once tested and was given a wink and sent on my merry way, the other time wasnt even tested.

Whats the thinking on cans sticking out the back these days?

I think if he went back and read your post in a different light he may react in a slightly better way. Even though we all know what you are like with your chav pals on Brighton sea front.

I must admit, I am a little surprised by his attitude given he runs a trackday company ..... Like you said Fubes, great advert for his company! rolleyes

On the subject of Trackdays, just trying to get an all TVR evening at BH or Snetterton organised for end July early August. Will start a separate thread, hopefully you all fancy it smile (Complete with BBQ after too smile).

Not if you think 3 hours @ £85. A normal trackday would be 2 sessions (am & pm) each of around 3 - 3.5 (maybe 4) hours at Brands would be close on £200

And iirc the MSV sessioned evenings are about £120? For the same amount of track time.

This is the reason ours has remained catted and we'll be looking for ways to queiten it down further still next year.

The noise issue is only getting worse, stupid people complain having moved near circuits/AIRFIELDS and then several clipboard warriors join in... before you know it, British motorsport is dead. Something needs to be done about these people/government/law/society as a whole... ranting

These people have no idea how lucky they are. hehe
