Over recent weeks I have noticed a slight knocking on the rear end of the cerbie, so decided this morning to have a look, and this is what i found......

Any ideas what may be causing it??

Knackered shocks? What kind of condition are the ARB bushes in?

Ride height set too low possibly along with knackered shocks probably.

I think the back of the chassis should be about 140mm to the ground but do a search on here to confirm.

I had the same, it was knackered shocks. is your car jacked up in that pic? Mine was the round thing with the rubber thing in (shown in ur pic above), scraping. check the side of it, it actually began to wear a grove in mine.

Thanks for replies, But I have now found out what the prob was!!! It was down to my silly error of putting the washer on in the wrong place on the drop link bars...oopphhss!!! Which had allowed the bottom bush to slide down the bar eek Which was causing the rubbing!
So after i had changed the shock over, got dirty etc, only then did i notice it...an hour after starting the job!!!
Now looking at it, it is obvious, but of course when it is staring you in the face, i just didn't see the problem, anyway all sorted now, and thankfully with no rubbing or knocking...thank goodness
