This weekend it all starts again! (Cadwell Park)

We are moving up to class A this year, going head to head with the Tuscan race cars and Sagaris GT's. We are also entered in the Aston Martin super GT's however work commitments will probably prevent me from doing most of the rounds. Look on the website for dates etc.

Its going to be a very intresting year, the car is very different from last year and has shown some good potential in testing. Moving into class A will be a challenge, especially with there being so many good drivers racing this year. Reliability will be a key factor.

It would be good to see you trackside in 2009! If youre at any of the meetings please come and say Hi!!

Thanks to the people who have really helped us out this year aswell!

David Hillis (plasticman)
Joo TCS
Clevor Trevor
Dymag Racing
Raceproved ltd

Thanks

Mike

Does that mean the compression tester gave you good rather than bad news?

Here are a couple of pictures. Not stickered up yet so looks a bit plain! With the first race only a couple of days away looks like we have run out of time!

Thanks

Looks good,

As a note, those wheels look huge, dissapointed you didn't go green wink

Good luck though - also, have you considered a clear lens over the front lights? a bit of perspex or something? i'd imagine the drag the 'indents' make are considerable at the speeds you'll be doing.

Nice one Mike. I was never convinced by the yellow wheels on your road car, but the ones on the racer look cool

'Open' Sagaris vents I pressume?

Good luck mate smile

ETA: Is it my eyes or have you swapped the brake and indicator lights around on one side?

Yes sagaris wing vents. Hoping they will reduce front end lift.

I thought someone would notice that! I put them on the wrong way round.....

Looks good mike, but do I see a neglected Cerb lurking in the background? frown

Rear ride height also looks a little extreme - is there a reason for this? Oh and do you run with a rear ARB? smile

Not neglected as such. I have refurbed the chassis etc. Just waiting to find time to put an engine back into it!

No rear ARB on the race car. (Martin Shorts advice)

The ride hieght looks higher than usual because of the gradient on my drive way. Also the new wheel arches are a bit higher. The rear diffuser also sits quite high. Does make it all look a bit high.

We do run the front a lot lower than the rear though.

Get really stiff at the front and then loose at the back...... Come to think of it im sure he was talking about the cerb...........eek

Nope no pictures. It wasnt that kind of refurb. Body raised all suspension appart all paint taken off then recoated and painted. Done pit stop style. i.e one weekend!
