Cheap and cheerful upgrades?

Car's off for a service on Saturday.

I'm not in the position where I want to spend thousands on suspension or remaps due to an impending house sale/purchase (my god HIPS are ridiculous!)

But are there any simple but effective modifications worth doing?

Are the Steve Heath drop links easy to fit? if they take all day, then at circa £150 for fronts and rears + hours at £50 per hour doesn't really suit me, but if it's a two hour job, AND worth it, i'd be tempted.

Any thoughts?

Yep, couple of hours and fairly straight forward.

Good idea to do you ARB bushes at the same time. Fronts easy, rears a little trickier.

Also, bothered about noise? Got a de-cat? Another cheap and cheerful mod.

Got any decent pads? That's another quick job that can make a huge difference.

I'm skipping decats - I think it might be too loud with the sports exhaust?

A remapped chip is only about £400 isn't it?

Decat and ARB bushes and drop links have already been mentioned.

Suspension angles set up? Your car might feel fine now, but you'll probably be surprised at the difference once its been set up properly.

where are decats sold or where can I get an idea for price on a pair of decats? allready made on the shelf sort of thing so i can compare them to prices from custom exhaust places
