Toyos, but not at that price.

Try Camskill.co.uk
or Mytyres.co.uk

Personally Vredestein Sessanta's (I've just bought a set) The fronts were under £100 each in 235/40/18

Failing that Goodyear GSD3's.

Elite in Rainham or North Street garage in Lewes West Sussex are cheap.

Camskill won't supply the Sessanta's at the mo.

Camskill are VERY cheap for Falkens - 10% cheaper than Blackcircles 265/30/19s as a comparison.

I have Toyo T!R on the front which replaced Bridgstones.
Much better!

I have Dunlops on the back, but am thinking of getting Toyo's for the rear.

So at Micheldever Tyres Hampshire I was quoted £114.33 for 255-40-17 T1R's, that's fitted and they hold them in stock!

The thing about the Toyo's is that people say they have a too-soft a sidewall.
But I think this will suite a light car like our Cerbs, so I can understand why drivers of much hevier cars have said they don't like them.

Tires are an bit like oil. Depends on what you want.
I personally can recommend Hankook Ventus V12 EVO in
any size. Have them on the Cerb in 225 16 inch all around
and on the Tuscan 18 inch 225 front and 255 rear.

Regards,
Björn.

Just put 2 Toyos on the front to replace the crap SO3's, got them off ebay £170 delivered for both. First impressions is they transform the car but running on the rims would ee an imprvement over the Bridgestones.

Thanks all! Spoke to my Dad's mate today who runs a tyre business in Derby - Eden Tyre Services. He says the Vredestein Sessanta's are good and are cheaper than the others. Approx £110 each. Looks like I'll go for them..........unless somebody says otherwise!!??
Cheers.

as Q said, bit like oil, depends on what you want... based on the factory size for your car (assuming you are still on the RL7s) falkentyres.co.uk has the fronts (452s) for £77 and the rears for £93... its where I got mine from. They're not Toyos nor F1s but feel very good on the car.

i've just slapped on Goodyear Asymetrics all round, lots of grip and very please with the grip.

only downside it the front walls are slightly higher and are catching the arches on full lock into a raised driveway.

Falklen fk452 from camskill for me - best price and the tyres are really good. High grip, progressive and decent wear rate.

Out of interest, what are people running on the 16" wheels these days?

It's a bit depressing seeing as I can hardly find a tyre in 245/45/16 and Y rated.

I guess people are running W rated tyres and restricting themselves to 168mph winktongue out.

Ditto - When you replace your worn and tired (no pun intended)Brand X's for some nice new Brand Y's. The new ones will always seem better than the old ones. I'd go for the cheapest of any of the previously mentioned Brands, they are all good tyres really.
