thought it was worth 100 pounds to go in the office .. not met reserve yet though .. half a cerbie engine with a cracked bore can't be worth more than 100 pounds surely??

How much for a cerb without an engine then?

A bit of glue and I could be onto something here!

[Spelling_Police]

And he writes such a good advert.

I don't think a split bore block would make a very pretty coffee table.

I was thinking a piston on the desk, a crank holding a lampshade, a cylinder head hung on the wall - that kinda thing .. are the bores big enough to get wine bottles in I wonder (or packets of jaffa cakes???)? .. will be watching to see how much it goes up by ..

just re-reading : after 8 bottles of wine I would be piston the desk anyway ... doh!

I do fancy a Cerb, but not in instalments to be honest.

Julian,

I guess there are other bit and pieces that can be cannibilised as well. Knowing the costs of TVR parts, then I recon £100 well spent. Interested to know what the researve is.

Nice one Colin. I was about to mention that camshafts are a current topic, then noticed that it was you who was having the problem. Could this be the reason you bought it.
