Checking Clutch Fluid Level
Discussion
The clutch on the Cerb's gone a bit soft, so before sending her to the hospital I've decided to check the simple[1] things first.
I expected to see a min and max for the clutch level - there aren't any. So, are you meant to be able to see any fluid in the 'neck' of the reservoir?
Thanks in advance,
Neil.

Yep should be some in the neck, mine has a little raised line on the inside lower side which stop just short of the top, usually fill to cover just that. TBH if you have none in there at all then you almost definitely have a problem coming on, you could top up and bleed through but it'll probably only drop again - might as well get it seen to whilst it hasn't let you down completely somewhere really awkward. Like an entrance to a tunnel in London at 11.30pm on the Sunday night of a bank holiday weekend - suffice to say, mines in the menders for similar at the moment

Plan was to check the simple things, perform a remedial fix if possible and then get it to a garage and get it sorted.TBH if you have none in there at all then you almost definitely have a problem coming on, you could top up and bleed through but it'll probably only drop again - might as well get it seen to whilst it hasn't let you down completely somewhere really awkward.

I've said this before but I'll say it again. After you bleed it, bleed it again, and then run around for a mile or two then bleed it again.
It's a bugger to get all the air out on the cerb more than any other car I have ever come across and worth wasting a bit of extra fluid to get it right.
