I've just been resealing my clutch slave cylinder. Can someone put me out of my misery? I did take notice whilst diassembling it but for some reason when reassembly I couldn't 100% remember in which position the piston part with the two holes lines up. I thought, if you can imagine looking at the bellhousing from the flywheel side, fitting the cylinder part so the holes line up with the pressure port, is this correct? Or do the holes line up with the bleed port? Appreciate any help.

Regards Simon

The holes line up with the bleed port (makes sense when you think about it- air escapes by rising to the highest point). The pressure port connects at 3 o'clock (or 9 o'clock, depeding on which side you're looking at it from).

Cheers chaps, I did wonder after refitting it and reading the numerous clutch threads, at least it's still sat on the bench and not back in the car.
