whats the difference in the radiators that you can get for the Cerbs? ive seen the new alloy ones but someone was saying to me that the originals have plastic in them? or are plastic framed? whats that all about?!
No, the originals are all metal. Alloy is an aftermarket upgrade/replacement. The other you mention has plastic side tanks, possibly a cheaper replacement.
A lot of new cars these days have plastic components in their radiators. The core is usually ally with plastic top and bottom tanks. Cheaper to manufacture.
