Insurance SHOT UP!

I just got my insurance renewal through. Last year I paid Less than £200 This year they want £647 and that's not including any breakdown cover. The chap at Performance Direct told my wife that last year was a mistake and that they as the 'Broker' were told by the 'Insurer' to get in touch with all the TVR owners that they had insured and request the cash shortfall, which the broker claims to have refused to do. Has any body else had this, or can point me in the direction of a company that I might get a realistic quote from and not try to sting me next year?. Cheers! Baz.
