Hello All,

What's the going rate for an hour of labour at a TVR specialist?

And...in comparison, are they expensive or on a par with modern garage hourly rates.

It's just that when I get my bills for the old girl, I am always surprised at the LABOUR charge.

Cheers

I was always suprised at how LOW the labour charge was with APM. Generally I found the rates of TVR garages to be much lower than say a merc dealer. To be honest though I always put the labour charge towards the bottom of my list when choosing who would look after my TVRs.

It depends who you use,but i would say rates compare with garages of a similar type.

I will second that. I really dont know how he can work that hourly rate. But fair play to all those that use himthumbup I think most indies are going to be cheaper than mainstream dealers, who seem in the most to charge a £100+hourly rate.
