Lol how did I know i would get an answer like that. Disconnected passenger side and fault stays the same on laptop so must be that side I hope. Is there anything else that could cause a bad reading as lambdas are both new 3 months ago and also I have no cats in at mo.
Thanks again
Lol - When I first saw the question, I thought "You big numpty! it's on the ......errr, ummm,... " Thanks again
: So the rule to remember is "I'm an ODD Driver" i.e the Odd bank is the drivers side.Possibly water has got into one of the coil packs, they do tend to crack with age, and because of their construction, they have a lip around the top, as they are positioned in the Vee of the engine, they just fill with water. A temporary problem will take a long time for the ECU to figure out that the problem has gone, so try resetting the adaptives and see if that cures it.
All sorted set it all up from scratch, looks like a faulty throttle pot 2 seems to be spiking a bit anyway got them both reading around 18 with 1100rpm slackened of the throttle linkage so i could even out the adaptives . It all makes cense now and the beast is once again. Its amazing how quick you can get them running smooth once everything is within range. Thanks again everyone.
A hint with the throttle pots. If you have a duff or spikey one, you can disconnect one and the ECU uses the reading from the one pot for both sides. A good get you home hint, which I didn't realise when mine went. Quite interesting driving having one side read from about 20 to 60-90 with just a brief touch of the throttle.
