I have had a new part system made up on the car today, the old one was shot, also made me up some balanced decats in stainless, sounds the business once more and a fantastic service by the Powerflow guy. The major plus side is the price....Not that i have or would ever scrimp on things for this car but i mean a quality setup with a lifetime guarantee for well, peanuts!

I'm after a new stainless centre section and decats to run from the manifolds to the standard back box. Is that what you had done. Did they do it while you waited? Can you give me a clue how much.

From the manifolds to the rear section will include your cats or decats? Including a balanced decat section youll be looking at around £200 or if your keeping your own cats in id bet you could half that or more. spin

I once got a Powerflow exhaust for a Mk1 MR2, albeit second hand. Think it was one of the worst fitting auto parts I'd ever laid my hands on!

Well thanks for the input but as you have pointed out the quality of fitment is down to the fabricator as they are made to measure, hence the reason yours may have been a bad fit. I watched him do some work and was very impressed.

I have used these a number of times and have always been impressed.

Stood watching the guys do it, which may have made a difference to the amount of effort put in.

Superb fit and still on the car without problems 8 years later.

Cost about a 1/3 the main dealer price for a new exhaust.

Did this include the back box or just the link pipes and decats?
Cheers

Is there any chance if a picture of what they did for the rear section of your cerb system? I take it the fitted twin mufflers in a similar configuration to the sports pipes rather than something along the lines of the original factory back box?

Just looks like any other sports system with the two silencers at an angle in place of the single large one except the stainless decats are made up with a full size balance pipe, im taking it back soon to sort myself out for the trackday noise limits., Ill get a pic then if i can, be a bit of a crappy pic on the floor!
