None Starter

hi all, i been have trouble gettin my 4.2 to start up! it sounds like a lack of fuel problem, was running ok put it away in the garage for 2 days then wont fire up!
i plugged it in the laptop an noticed that the warm up box is saying NO CONTROL an water temp is flickin between NO CONTROL is this normal?? could this be a problem with the cold start??

I have heard that the water temp sender if prone to bad/broken connections.

So may just be a simple bad wire problem?

Will it turn over at all?

Check the multi plug connection that goes into the underside of the Air filter box (the one at the front of tha car, the connection is on the passenger side)

yeah its turning over and every now an again it sounds like it just about gonna spring in to life but it does'nt just quite get there

Took the water temp connecter off today and the screen switched from NO CONTROL to OK an fans come on, but when i connect it again it goes back to NO CONTROL. Gonna get a new sensor tomorrow, does anybody think this could cause the car not to start?? Cheers Mike
