I spotted 2 master cylinders on ebay and the seller mentions that ones needs a seal kit and refers to a number SP2102. i presume this is a girling part number.

I removed my master cylinder and and put a new o ring in there to try and plump up the exisiting worn o ring but it still lets fluid past.

I would like to buy a seal kit if possible to save on hassle of making sure the new master cylinder is the right one with the right length rod and threaded hole for the pipe, part numbers etc.

Anyone refurbed theirs before if so where did you get the seal kit from.

They aren't that expensive.

Replace it and be done with it.

Some motor factors can get hold of them, they are a Lucas item, I found Merlin to be the cheapest though, even with postage costs.

Also bear in mind that TVR used a different size hydraulic fitting than standard which means that while the cylinder may fit... the pipe won't!
