Hello all,

Want to replace all my dash vents for ally ones.

Does anyone do a straight swap cerebera ones, or can we use Tuscan/Chimaera/Griffith ones?

All info appreciated.

Cheers

I think this subject was raised before without a positive outcome. It might be worth proposing a 'group buy' and then approaching someone like Leven to make them.

It would certainly tart up the interior, but im guessing they wouldn't be cheap?

There's a chap I know who had some made up for his Ultima, they look remarkably similar to the Cerb ones, and he's going to lend them to me to see if they fit.

If it's a goer, i'll see if he'll make a batch up...

I've chased up Simon, am hoping they fit, would be an ideal solution.

Has anyone got aluminium buttons too? To replace the plastic ones for the windows/mirrors etc?

I have a spare plastic vent for the steering wheel if anyone wants to buy it from me to use it as a starting point to base a design off.

I did look at making a metal version for the eyeball vent a few years ago, but it would have been too costly to get made up. I suffered that with the gear lever surrounds that I had made up and did not want to be bitten twice! Most people want to buy such items for a very low price and unfortunately its difficult to get companies to make them to a price which people are prepared to pay and still have a quality bit of kit.

Please send me an email if interested = djbeevers@hotmail.com

What I would like is something like this in aluminium:

The current design is so 1960's Cortina.

I quite like the eyeballs. Apart from the fact that the whole thing turns instead of just the knob. An ally version would be great.

I am guessing that they are the same ones that are in the Sagaris but finished better. I know there will be drivers of Sags that will want some of those! Can you mail me if you get a solution?
