doing the brakes this weekend if its not p**5ing down. Are the bolts holding the calipers on standard hex bolts or are they the allen key heads TVR is so fond of? And what size if allen key as I will probably need to purchase one.

iirc they are 8mm allen key head bolts.

Just done mine. They are allen key bolts.
Hit the allen key gently (ish) with a rubber hammer to free them up, mine were very tight.

And give the hole a brush out first as there will prob be road crap in there, also some threadloc afterwards is a good idea.

thanks for that guys.... hope there won't be any issues. Oh, do the rear calipers need to come off or will the pads slide out once the pins and springs are removed?

I copper slip mine to prevent seizure, steel/alloy electrolysis anyone?
