mine has been playing up a bit for a while untill today whenit locked me in the car.

so i unpluged it as i have done many times. when pluging it back i was not paying atention and pluged in the connectors the wrong way as it turns out this is almost guranteed to blow the box so now it has to be repaired.

I may have just been lucky, but I have done this on at least two occasions (don't ask!) without damaging the box at all. Try it - you may have got away with it.

I done the same, blown the box and the boot solenoid, but I managed to fix it by replacing the blown internals. It now works fine.
