Has anyone had to remove/replace/repair the evaporator in the cold air box that sits in the O/S wing?

It appears there is a fairly major hole somewhere in mine so no air con.

Can the evaporator be repaired?
Anyone know what/who its from?

From the manual it looks like just getting it out to inspect it is a weekend job so any thoughts experiences welcomed

Top UJ disconnected
to allow steering column to be removed
pedal box has to be removed so brake lines and throttle cable disconnected
nearside wing inspection cover removed to disconnect hose from receiver drier
air con hose on fuel cooler disconnected
sikaflex and tie wraps removed to allow said hoses to be pulled back into drivers wing
including front air box and scoop removed to get at tie wraps in front of radiator
inspection cover at rear of O/S wheel arch removed to get at cooler unit from front
carpet and cover removed from inside of car to get at cooler box from rear

and now finally unbolt the brackets and try to pull it out into the footwell

It may be able to be repaired but it may also be corroded to the point where it's not practical to re-use it as it may be leaking again within a week of putting it back in.

I have no idea what it's off but once you get it out it may be worth taking it along to the local Ford dealership to see if their parts people can identify it.
