I reckon temperature sensor connections in the water line under the f1 panel are favorite. Take the plug off and scrape the terminals clean, a bit awkward as they're recessed. spray with WD40 or the like and test.
Also what about fan fuses?

ok so ive check and the fans do work they come on when the ecu reads 90ish. but by that time the guage is off the top of the scale. ive then checked the temp with a digital thermomiter and it says the ecu reading is right.

so the question is why has the gauge suddenly started reading about 25 c over the real temp.?

need to fix this as its not nice driving around looking as it sayin 110 c

Check that no cable ties have broken and the capillary dropped close to the exhaust manifolds.

however im thinking could i have broken it some how when i replaced the water pipes.it was allways fine before that.

its really not nice to see the thing sat at 110 plus in trafic
