I suppose as long as it is the right price in the first place, and has proof that it has been repaired correctly, it should be saleable when you come to get rid (everything has a price).
There is a market for cat C cars, although I would expect you would have a much narrower band of potential buyers.
Wouldn't put me off if repaired properly (although I'm not put off by DIY serviced cars as some are !!!

)I'd be put off & wouldn't even consider it. Not because I'd be worried for the quality of the car & the repair, just because when it comes time to sell the car I don't want to spend 6 months doing it/get robbed making a quick sale to a dealer. Unless you're after a 4.5RR I'd be dubious about it being worth the extra hassle over a 4.2 of similar age/price that hadn't been in an accident.
This one's been for sale for about 6 months......

It will put a lot of people off, I'm told this one is very straight, but the bonnets a bit 'love it or hate it' if you plan on keeping it for ages and don't mind selling it at a bargin bucket price when you do, then go for it,

Tuscan still for sale, managed to convince wife it probably won't sell til Spring, so have a few months to raise the difference having sold the T5R.
Cerby is great, only picked up yesterday so still getting used to it. First non-RV8 I've had so power delivered differently to what I'm used to, maybe a little slower than Tuscan, but not a lot. Also first TVR I've had with a roof, which is a novelty. New engine done by factory at 8k miles and repair carried out by reputable indie TVR specialist. So far so good, especially for the money, just hope she behaves herself, as I'm using her daily.
Cheers Al.
