Gaz Gold Pro Settings
Discussion
Hi folks
I installed 3 of my 4 shiny new Gaz Gold Pro dampers last night.
Hopefully I'll get it finished tonight but I was after some advice on setting them up.
I have set the ride-height to the same as before but what number of clicks on the adjusters have people found to be good. I am after a nice smooth road ride rather than a track orientated tooth-rattler.
I opted for the "fast-road" springs. I think 400 / 375 but I'm not sure.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Ed

Hi Ed - I still keep playing around with mine - the shocks that is. Mine are currently 10 rear and 20 front. It's all a matter of personal preference really (As Joo taught me!!). But generally you want the back softer than the front. You can adjust them without jacking the car up, so keep an old blanket in the boot, start with them on 5 clicks, and at the end of a journey get the blanket out, fumble around and wind them up a bit till your happy.

Hi Al
Ed has the new Gaz Gold Pro kit which has 20 adjustments.
Starting point would be 5 from soft front and 7 from soft rear and then fine tune as you suggest.
You mean he's got better ones than mine - Damm! I wasn't far out though was I suggesting 5! Oh, and my ones go up to 20 clicks, don't they??Ed has the new Gaz Gold Pro kit which has 20 adjustments.
