Met an 09 AMG63 estate tonight and its now official - an AMG63 is no match for a proper 4.2, well to be fair it was a very good match but mine is fractionally quicker

erich - dunno it was a white one.

Tim - just got a loose rear diff mount - clonk when lifting off - will tighten it at the weekend then hopefully all ready for curborough

Well that's reassuring. When my friend *finally* takes deliver of his SL55, I should be able to make fairly short work of it.

Be aware, that the 55ers (516 lb-ft) were torque monsters, much more than the 63s (465 lb-ft) are. Might get closer than you think...

I found the supercharger cars always better in every aspect. Sadly they are no longer produced...
