anyone had the problem of topping the clutch fluid to full, then 6 hours later having ALL of it on the floor? Pipe is fine, master is fine. Looks like bell housing end... IS this is the slave cylinder? Had a new clutch and slave 3k ago (not by me), Im reluctant to start getting into depths of gearbox out as im not that clever!

Your thoughts?

Thanks again you legends! wink

On the floor of the car by the drivers feet or on the floor of the garage?

are you sure you had a new slave, did you claim the old one back? and did it come with new seals as they could have used your old ones,

3k miles for slave is poor.

Hi gents, no on the floor of the driveway not the footwell :/

car had it done before I bought it (well I have a receipt for it anyway if you know what I mean) and that garage is too far way to even bother talking to, let alone it was more than a year ago.

Ill get it on the ramp and get the box out, any ideas where I could get a slave cylinder? anyone know a lockheed number or cross over at all?

thanks.

It's a TVR machined item I'm afraid.

You can just replaced the seals if the cylinders are still in good nick. It's about £35 for the seal kit and £250+ for the metal work.

You'll need 4 countersunk screws for it too and some threadlock to refit.

You'll need at least 4 hours to do it.

Long extension bars and Allen key bits that will fit in a socket to get the gearbox off the bell housing.

Also ensure the holes in the Slave line with 6 and 12 o'clock when you put it back together or you won't be able to bleed the air out.
