I manage to make contact with him. He is very busy for the next 2-3 months. I will have to sort it soon,as the match and jerrican look very suitable options.

In Chesterfield, oooooh at least 40 yards down the same road as his previous workshop.......... Just don't go expecting any signs on the building, eh Joo?????

In relation to the "he's busy for the next 2-3 months", well yes with the group buys on induction kits / work for 4.2 / 4.5's - but keep in contact with him - always a last minute cancelation / change of date / unexpected alteration of plans that means if you are lucky you'll get a slot - you just need to be in contact and a bit flexible about getting there at relatively short notice...... wink See you tomorrow Joo!!!! (bog off - I booked it first wink )

Sorry Ash, I don't do crates or US imported builds if you know what I mean. They build to a price, ie the cheapest and that usually means a short cut somewhere along the way. Could be a rejected ls7 block used for the build or a sleeved ls2 block being described as an ls7 or more commonly a 427. Go ask on the Ultima forums about Tim Madge and his bargain fantastic ls7 427's. The replies will illustrate where it can all go wrong. I did try to warn them but nobody was listening. Now they have no engines and no refunds. One guy's down £18k iirc.

Very interesting... I think many of us enthusiasts do get stung once or twice... we only learn, unfortunately some lose a lot more in the process of 'learning' frown

The only reason I asked is because someone has got his eyes on a tuscan mk1 rolling shell and is looking at engine options.
