Hand Brake adjustment
Discussion
I thought I'd sorted mine using a mix of Pug 605 shoes, the fitting kit off a Jag XJS and a couple of the old bits. It lasted about a month before it went back to being nearly as rubbish as it was before
I'll have another little poke around the next time I've got an excuse to take the rear wheels off.

Our 308 (Ferrari not Peugeot!) has those on and they're even worse than the Cerbera. I rebuilt them last winter and, useless or otherwise, they are a nice piece of engineering.
i meant the ones on the 360 and 430, friends who kindly have let me driven them, i've noticed the little calliper thing?dean_ratpac said:

You can get to the adjuster via a small hole in the centre of the disc. A well adjusted clean rear drum will work fine.
Below is how I've done mine and my handbrake is now fine on about click 3-4 on the handbrake.
You'll need to slacken off the adjusters to get them off.
Remove the calipers and discs and give it all a good clean, including the back plate, adjusters, cable, pivots, rough up the pads a little and check teh running surface on the drum is clean.
Refit, greasing all contact points, spray some WD40 down the cable sheath and or spray in some white grease (ensure all excess is gone before refitting)
Refit the drums and tighten the adjusters until they stop turning. Give the drums a tap and see if they continue to turn after. Repeat this until the drums no longer turn. Now back off 3-4 clicks on the adjusters.
Repeat on the other side. You shouldn't need to adjust the handbrake cable after this as you've reset the shoes inside the drums but if so pull the exhaust and heat shield off and adjust so you can just about get the 5th click.
