Does anyone know how remove the brake caliper pistons?

Do people just blow them out with an airline?

Yep, or very very carefully grab the top couple of millimeters of the piston with a pipe wrench covered with a cloth.

They made of Ali and very easy to damage so take care. New pistons are only abbout £9 or so each.

Cool, done it now with the help of an airline, stuffed a towel in between them to stop them flying out and getting damaged.

Now on to cleaning up the caliper and paint...

Yea, it's going fine now, just using all manner of degreasing agents and brake cleaners to try and get the baked on brake dust off.
